Five Points San Antonio is an up-and-coming city which is part of San Antonio’s Midtown area. Other towns in Midtown include Tobin Hill, Monte Vista, Alta Vista, Beacon Hill, University Hill and Trinity Heights. These areas have experienced an increase in population and popularity over the past few years.
The historic community of Five Points lies north of downtown San Antonio and is one of the oldest communities in the city. Five Points has many areas of historical significance.

Five Points San Antonio is believed to have been established around 1890. Five Points is bounded by Laurel Avenue to the west, Interstate Highway 35 to the south, and Camaron to the east.

Many of the homes found throughout Five Points include classical revival style, folk Victorian and Texas vernacular architecture. All of the architectural landmarks throughout Five Points were recognized when the city was named an historical district on December 7, 2006. It is one of 21 other districts in San Antonio to have achieved historical status.

One of the more famous historical houses is the Hertzberg House, which was given landmark status by the State of Texas.

Five Points real estate remains a very affordable place to live, especially in relation to its neighboring cities like Monte Vista. Five Points homes for sale have a median price of $89,500. Five Points is considered to be a working class community with homes of many different price ranges accommodating many buyers.
