King William San Antonio, also known as the King William Historic District, is located just one-half mile from the famed River Walk. This neighborhood is bordered by Durango Street to the north, Alamo to the east, Guenther to the south and the San Antonio River to the west.

King William San Antonio is best known for its stunning, Victorian homes and lush gardens. Originally settled by German immigrants, this stately neighborhood was once home to rich and prominent families in the late 19th century. Today, some of San Antonio’s elite still call King William home.

King William was zoned as Texas’ first historical district. In fact, the area includes three local and national historic districts, and has properties that are recognized for their historical significance.
